we came to toast sunset
and made friends with the moon
the sun’s not setting, the horizon is rising,
because day’s about spinning. In fact,
(same sun) somewhere it’s noon,
what’s more, we know day right now is beginning
somewhere to our west —which is east
for whoever’s seeing light-rich clouds
this moment creating a show —
rising sun blazing shattering night
of this bubble, this ball, this little balloon
