with blue arms and lemony hat
who points two ways at once)
and the windowed brick façade above,
a lightning bolt of green
shoots through leafy clouds
at sun-shot daybreak
like a shot of love
—a patch of sea below, framed in stone
is struck blue with life at this familiar
corner of the world
