the focal point of this geometry
lies at the center of the second window from the left,
second tier down, of the hip-roofed building
behind which two canted slopes collide
from there everything expands, outward-bound
like the forever noise of a big-bang
—expands beyond a snow-capped mountain,
and too, with atomic precision,
straight into the eyes of any sentient beholder
surfing the leading edge of this wave’s eternal curl
