I think a thing I see, maybe the pistils
of the outrageous day-lily in a cluster of others
aflame at the center of love’s garden
as an emotion rises in the center of mine
smudging together legions of similar instances
of blood and thought coursing through
the pipes of my machine in a storm of
recollections and associations, the
warming of frictions of firing algorithms
which seem anything but artificial, and I wonder
how might a robot feel?
