Love and Gravity

.
We fell in curved space and met
and married at the speed of light
before the sun had set

Everything was relative: your brothers,
twin sister, dad and mother Mary mine
were there; my sisters and brothers too

Those days I sadly lived to see mom
square off with dad —colliding
(although he wasn’t there) he, un-abiding,
stayed away to keep the peace
since that was what they’d come to then,
particles dividing

There was no greater gravity than We
that day of love and carnal energy uniting
filling everything that all the suns were lighting;
a day I try to taste again by writing
.
