Until We Do Not Think

“… there is no largest infinity . . . There is, however, something akin to a smallest infinity. . .” — Scientific American, Goldstern & Kellner 8/16/21

Some infinities are bigger than others.
—atemporal Matryoshkas,
nested dolls: infinity’s
a nano second
a second
a minute
a day
a week
a month
a year
a century,
millennium,
eon, etcetera, within
what comes next.
To cleave any of their instants to bits is fruitless
—by circumstance they’re elastic in breadth,
yet identical: drawn out in trouble, cut short in bliss.
Infinities nest and nest regardless. It’s mysterious
(until we do not think)
