Song: Nobody

—Emily Dickinson, 1830 – 1886

I’m nobody, who are you
are you nobody too

then there’s the two of us
don’t tell, they’ll banish us you know

How dreary to be somebody,
how public like a frog
to tell one’s name the livelong day
to an admiring bog

I wrote a tune for this Emily Dickenson poem and worked out this arrangement with the help of my very talented friend, Joe Podlesny. I’m singing, Joe is doing everything else. The recording is here: https://soundcloud.com/jim-culleny/im-nobody
